CaPlast Group - Europe's leading specialist for extrusion coatings
The CaPlast Group comprises three highly specialized companies: AerO Coated Fabrics bv, CaPlast Kunststoffverarbeitungs GmbH, and Now Contec GmbH & Co KG. AerO and CaPlast share a leading position in extrusion coating for niche applications, while Now Contec, as a contract service provider, is a leader in the finishing and packaging of extrusion-coated products.
CaPlast, founded in 1967, has been part of the listed KAP AG since 1996. CaPlast then strengthened its position with AerO Coated Fabrics in 2021 and with Now Contec in 2018. With the successful conclusion of the sale negotiations in April 2023 between KAP AG and Kingspan Group plc, all three companies are now part of the Roofing & Waterproofing division of the globally active Kingspan Group. Kingspan Group plc itself is divided into five divisions and operates in more than 80 countries with approximately 27,000 dedicated employees.
AerO Coated Fabrics B.V.
The latest addition is AerO Coated Fabrics B.V., based in Tilburg, the Netherlands. The coating experts from the Netherlands serve the growing market demand for heavy, environmentally friendly textile composite fabrics based on TPO as substitutes for e.g. PVC. Customers and the CaPlast team alike benefit from the company's extensive know-how in formulating and processing the compounds.
AerO has state-of-the-art production facilities and an innovative product range. In particular, coated nonwovens for trenchless pipe rehabilitation (CIPP) as well as solutions for partition-walls and roll-up curtains, special floor coverings, and customized solutions for agricultural and construction applications next to many others.
NOW Contec
Now Contec is an absolute specialist in the finishing, converting and packaging of rolled goods. Building on decades of experience, Now Contec today plays a leading role as a contract converter especially for materials for the protection of the building envelope and for textile fabrics. The always customer-specific range of offers ranges from the packaging of large to small rolls, cutting of multiple copies, full-surface multi-color printing up to 3.3 m, hotmelt adhesive application to palletizing, labeling and logistics services
