Air- and vapour barriers

CaVap HP 5 is a vapour barrier with an sd-value of 5 metres that has been specially designed for use in blown insulation techniques. The vapour barrier consists of a highly tear resistant, polypropylene non-woven fibre with a polyolefin coating. With its high nail tear resistance, CaVap HP5 offers the optimum conditions for easier, simpler and safer working in the blown insulation procedure.

When working with the material it is necessary to observe the applicable standards, the generally recognized rules of manufacturers as well as the CaPlast laying information.

Fields of application

• Vapour barrier for use in blown insulation techniques
• Unventilated, wall and roof constructions which are open to diffusion
• Timber-framed building styles
• Renovation work and new constructions

• Multi-use vapour barrier sd ≥ 5 m
• Good inherent stability through reinforced non-woven fibre
• Translucent (rafters are visible)
• Very high anti-tear values
• Easy and secure working
• Alkali resistant
