Adhesives programm

CaTape UV is a UV- stabilised adhesive strip which is specially adapted for all CaPlast roofing (CaTop) and façade membranes (CaWrap UV 200). The adhesive strip consists of a UV- stabilised film with a polyester mass which is provided with an acrylate adhesive (dispersion). This tape is intended for application in the overlap area of sarking and façade membranes and for rising components. UV- stabilisation leads to increase outdoor exposure up to 1 year. In all cases, and especially on wet surfaces, an adhesion test must be carried out. The surface must be sufficiently adhesive, dry and free from dust, grease and ice, for the use.

When working with the material it is necessary to observe the applicable standards, the generally recognized rules of manufacturers as well as the CaPlast laying information. Subject to technical modifications.

Fields of application

• Bondings of CaTop roofing membranes
• Bondings of component & (roof) penetrations
• Bondings of CaWrap façade membranes
• Repairs of CaPlast façade and roofing membranes
• Suitable for temporary roof covering

• High level of UV - stability
• Very good adhesive properties
• Easy handling
• Rainproof
• Solvent free / Plasticiser resistant
